A Message to our
Friends & Community
When we restored and reopened The Red Rose, our decision-making was firmly rooted in what we could offer the community that this very special building has been part of since it was first imagined in 1938.
We follow all the guidelines published by the State of New York and Department of Health for managing the property during the current coronavirus (Covid-19).
Our tavern and lounge are open to the public. All guests must wear masks unless eating and drinking, or if they are seated.
While we do not offer breakfast at this time, we offer room service to our motel guests during dinner hours that they may enjoy across the property. We have provided refrigerators, coffee makers and three charcoal grills to make each guest's stay more comfortable, despite our limited amenities. We have updated our outdoor spaces to include string lights in the evening, plentiful outdoor seating, hammocks, room to dine at picnic tables, and an extra fire pit to encourage social distancing.
Please note that each vacated room is held for 24 hours and disinfected thoroughly before becoming available to other guests.
We take our hospitality mission very seriously. And hospitality is, first and foremost, taking care of people. Our limited access approach is the best way we feel we can care for the people that make The Rose possible — our customers and clients, our friends and regulars, and our families and staff.
We will continue to monitor the situation and adapt our approach, vowing to go above and beyond the guidance from the CDC and NY State Department of Health, by watching the numbers, listening to what's happening in our community, and limiting access to only those who haven't travelled to or from an area outside of states bordering New York.
In the meantime, we'd love for you to follow along with us as we use this time to improve The Rose and adapt to the new realities we all face.
